Drop In Conversion Cylinder for the 36 Cal Uberti 1851-1861 Navy. 6 Round Stainless Steel. Converts .36 caliber black powder revolver to shoot 38LC lead rounds. Use only cowboy ammunition that does not exceed 850 FPS; never use hot or jacketed ammunition. The cylinder features small windows on all chambers.  The windows help identify which chamber is loaded or not.  The hammer is placed on an empty chamber.

For improved accuracy, we recommend lining your percussion barrel from a .375 bore to a .357.  Once your barrel is lined, you may use any 38-caliber lead cartridge.  If you choose not to line your barrel, we recommend using a hollow base wadcutter bullet.  This type of bullet will expand to follow the rifling in your unlined barrel.  Click HERE to order 38SPL Hollowbase wadcutter ammo.
