Pietta Steel 1858 Army 45 LC 6 Round Fluted Gated Conversion Kit

Convert your Pietta 1858 Remington .44 to fire 45LC/45 Schofield cartridges. This kit allows the shooter the freedom to swap between shooting cartridges and black powder. Kit includes Gated Ring with a spring-loaded firing pin, 6 Round Fluted Cylinder, and Loading Port Template. The firing pin is spring loaded and can be removed for cleaning or replacement if necessary. The Loading Port Template will allow you to precisely cut your loading port so that you may load from the breech end. It is no longer necessary to secure the ring. One Safety Stop Notch is located on the outside diameter of the cylinder between two chambers. This feature allows the hammer to be lowered between loaded chambers.

Please note, fittings may be required due to the Gun Manufacturer’s variations or the age of the revolver. If your revolver was manufactured before 2002, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER, KIT WILL NOT WORK! This conversion cylinder is classified as a “part” by the BATF, and No FFL is required to purchase or ship this product. Once the port has been cut in the frame, it is considered a permanent modification of the revolver and is therefore now classified as a “FIREARM,” and all Federal Regulations shall apply.
