Pietta 1858 Remington Navy 38 SPL 6 Round

Description

Drop in Conversion Cylinder for the 36 Cal Pietta 1858 Remington Navy.  6 Rounds, Blue.  Converts .36 caliber black powder revolver to shoot 38SPL lead round. Use only cowboy ammunition that does not exceed 850 FPS; never use hot or jacketed ammunition. The cylinder features 6 small windows on all chambers to allow the rim of the cartridges to be viewed for an empty chamber.

For improved accuracy, we recommend lining your percussion barrel from a .375 bore to a .357.  Once your barrel is lined, you may use any 38-caliber lead cartridge.  If you choose not to line your barrel, we recommend using a hollow base wadcutter bullet.  This type of bullet will expand to follow the rifling in your unlined barrel.
